Business outcomes, not documents
Every engagement is measured against the same six outcomes. We agree which ones matter most for your business, then build the data strategy, governance, and delivery plan that gets you there.
A more agile, data-driven business
Teams stop waiting on manual reports and one-off requests. Governed, documented data becomes something people can use themselves, so the business reacts in days instead of quarters.
Disparate data sets turned into actionable insights
Finance, sales, operations, and product data are mapped, reconciled, and connected into one trusted view that answers real business questions instead of raising new ones.
Optimized decision-making
Agreed definitions, consistent KPIs, and reliable numbers give executives and teams one version of the truth, with lineage that shows exactly where each figure comes from.
New revenue streams from data
Data products, sharper pricing and customer intelligence, and monetizable insights turn assets you already own into commercial opportunities.
Lower cost of data ownership
Duplicated pipelines, overlapping reports, and unmanaged tooling get consolidated. Clear ownership and standards stop the rework and firefighting that quietly drain budgets.
A data strategy and governance policies that work
A practical strategy, policies, decision rights, and an ownership model designed around how your organization actually works — adopted in daily practice, not filed away.
Data management and strategy services
Services can be combined into one programme or used individually, depending on where your organization is today and how quickly you need results.

What this looks like in practice
Selected transformation work, focused on global finance data strategy, data quality, ownership, transparency, governance capability mapping, and trusted data for executive decisions.
Global finance data strategy from scratch
The finance department of a global company had no data strategy — only scattered information about operational problems across teams and systems.
Operational pain turned into governance priorities
Disparate business and technical inputs were gathered and structured into governance capability areas, showing where quality, ownership, and transparency gaps mattered most.
Immediate improvements without losing the long game
A strategy path separated improvements that could land immediately from longer-term transformation, making the roadmap understandable for business, data, and executive stakeholders.
Board-level decisions on trusted numbers
Led integration of NetSuite as a financial source and extended board-level decision support on top of the wider finance data management direction.
From first conversation to measurable value
Data work pays off when business priorities, ownership, governance, quality, and delivery are designed together. This is the sequence I use to get there without stalling the business.
Start with the decisions, not the data
We define the decisions, risks, reporting needs, and AI or analytics ambitions the business wants to support, so every later step has a purpose you can point to.
Map the disparate data and where it breaks
Needs and pain points are collected from business, finance, analytics, governance, and engineering teams, then organised into one coherent view of gaps, duplication, and dependencies.
Design the strategy, policies, and ownership
Requirements are mapped across governance, quality, architecture, metadata, lineage, and ownership, then turned into a strategy, policies, standards, and accountable roles.
Deliver quick wins alongside the roadmap
Improvements that can land in weeks run in parallel with the long-term plan, so stakeholders see value early and the programme keeps its mandate.
Embed adoption and measure the value
I stay close to product, engineering, and analytics work on models, pipelines, documentation, and reporting, tracking adoption and cost so the strategy shows up in daily use.

Why clients bring me in
I work at the intersection of business strategy, governance, product thinking, and delivery. Companies bring me in when data is spread across systems and teams, reporting is contested, costs keep rising, and leadership needs numbers it can act on. My job is to turn that into a strategy people agree with and a plan the organization can actually execute.
My foundation is in requirements management, data modeling, and analytical problem-solving, which means strategy work does not stop at slides. I stay involved through governance rollout, data products, quality rules, documentation, and reporting until the change is visible in how teams work day to day.
Before DataArt, I spent nearly six years at OT-OIL leading delivery of planning and monitoring systems for major energy companies, including team leadership, client turnaround, and product replication across multiple sites.
Where I add most value
- Data strategy for finance and enterprise functions
- Governance, ownership, metadata, lineage, and quality
- Stakeholder alignment and operating model design
- AI-ready data foundations and change adoption
